CASA LUNGOLAGO
A building inserted in the historic curtain wall of the lakefront of Cannobio dating back to the time of the development of the town on the coastal strip (between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries), therefore of great historical and cultural value, needed major renovations which concerned the facades and the entire roof, in addition to the complete renovation of the top floor apartment which also included the conversion of the volumes in the attic into living spaces. An intervention that required great commitment and attention to all the details, and which was declined with targeted planning and interior design interventions of great visual-functional impact such as the mezzanine overlooking the living room, or the iron staircase designed and built specifically for this intervention.
Un fabbricato inserito nella cortina storica del lungolago di Cannobio risalente all'epoca dello sviluppo del paese sulla fascia costiera (negli anni tra il quattocento e il cinquecento), quindi di grande valore storico e culturale, necessitava di importanti interventi di ristrutturazione che hanno riguardato le facciate e l'intera copertura, oltre al rifacimento completo dell'appartamento all'ultimo piano che ha previsto anche la riconversione in spazi abitativi dei volumi nel sottotetto. Un intervento che ha richiesto grande impegno ed attenzione in tutti i dettagli, e che è stato declinato con interventi mirati di progettazione ed interior design di grande impatto visivo-funzionale come il soppalco che affaccia sul soggiorno, o la scala in ferro pensata e realizzata appositamente per questo intervento.
